Overview

Dolphin Bay at the Atlantis is a sophisticated dolphin habitat where you will get to see the playful bottlenose dolphins and experience the thrill of their playful side.

What to expect

The Trip to Dolphin Bay provides the best outing for the entire family. On arrival, you will have to check in to the Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark to verify your voucher. You will then have 30 minutes to change into your swimwear and swim suit which are essential for the activity.  You will later get to learn more about the dolphins from our marine mammal experts who will tell you everything you need to know for the encounter with the dolphins. After the orientation, you will finally get to meet the magnificent dolphins, interact and play with them. During the encounter, you will get to hug and kiss the dolphins and get the privilege to create a special bond with the mammals. You will also get to learn more about the habits, actions and behaviors from our marine specialist. When the encounter with the dolphins is over, you can continue having fun at the attraction and enjoy your complimentary tickets to the Aquaventure Waterpark.

• The duration of the tour is about one and a half hours
• A printed voucher is required

Arrival and Check in

• Check in at the reception located at the courtyard at the entrance of Dolphin Bay
• Day guests need to check in at the Aquaventure ticketing plaza Dolphin Bay windows
• Your name and confirmation number for check in are required
• If you booked a voucher, bring it along with you to avoid getting charged for the interactions
• Arrive no later than the stated time on the reservation to check in
• We reserve the right to sell slots for guests who arrive late
• Guests participating in the Dolphin photo fun interaction must arrive at Dolphin Bay reception at least 5 minutes before the scheduled time for the interaction.
• Preferential Atlantis Resort guest rate bookings are valid upon presenting your Atlantis room key at the Dolphin Bay ticketing counter. It is only valid during your stay at Atlantis, The Palm.

• Schedules for the Dolphin encounter activity is available within intervals of 30 to 45 minutes, starting from 9:30 am until 4:30 pm

How to Use

• Present a printed or a mobile voucher to enter the facility
• Vouchers are valid only for days and time specified
• You must possess the voucher to enter the attraction
• Dolphin bay is located to the far eastern side of Aquaventure waterpark
• On the day of your visit, check in at the Dolphin Bay windows located at Aquaventure ticketing plaza
• The attraction is open daily from 10:00 am until sunset

Know Before you go

Here are a few key rules to ensure the safety of guests and the dolphins:

• All guests are provided with wet suits or swimming vests during the interaction. Typically you wear your swimsuit underneath.
• The interaction duration is between 1 to 1.5 hours
• Personal wetsuits are not permitted for the safety of the dolphins
• Cameras are not allowed in the water
• We provide a photographer during the interaction
• We provide an observer pass to allow friends and family to take pictures from the beach
• Your scheduled time is the mandatory check-in and not for the interaction
• Scheduled time slots are available from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.
• Time slots vary on a daily basis so check the available slots before booking
• Be sure to arrive at scheduled time as we cannot provide a refund or reschedule
• Review the set rules for age, swimming requirements and other policies

• Observer pass holders must remain on the beach. They are not allowed to enter the water, climb on rocks or walk along the walls of the lagoon.

Important Information

• All children below the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or appointed guardian
• A ratio of 3 children per 1 adult is accepted
• All ages are allowed for the Atlantis Dolphin Encounter since it is a shallow water program
