About Al Maha Resort Dubai

The Fortress Foyer

A fortress-like reception at the intimate, boutique property. Have a rest at the lobby lounge highlighting carved wood armchairs, Persian rugs, Arabic lanterns, and undulating drapes.

Catch a breath at the bar leading out to a large terrace offering unobstructed views of the open plains. At the gift shop enjoy the epic artworks and antique display and take a memento with you.

Eco-Friendly

Al Maha Resort Dubai is Eco-conscious and uses sustainable materials including date palm fronds, LED lighting, solar panels, and recycling and purifying water.

A Home Away From Home

Friendly and discreet staff is keen on ensuring every visitor’s need is met from the smallest detail to major ones.

Passionate Guides

Passionate field guides at the resort share their in-depth knowledge about the flora and fauna around.

Nature Walk Opportunities

When you are not out exploring the desert on the back of a horse or enjoying a nature drive, guests can utilize the outdoor pool or blow off some steam at the fitness center.

Better still head out to the Timeless Spa for an aromatherapy treatment or opt for the Arabian Rasoul chamber experience (using steam and mud). Individuals on a business trip will have a business center and meeting rooms for their business-related activities.

A Laid Back Environment

Guests who prefer total privacy will be able to cool off at the canvas-roofed ‘tents’ spread out across the desert. The single-level, stand-alone tents also have a pool, comfortable super-king-sized beds, wooden chests, Arabian antiques, writing desks, and a cozy seating area.

The spacious suites stand out with their ornate wooden doors, marble bathrooms with huge soaking tubs, separate rain showers, twin vanities, and cool Bvlgari amenities.

All suites are complemented with binoculars, an easel, and art materials if you find the desert landscape inspiring. The two-bedroom Royal Suite or the cavernous three-bedroom Emirates Suite is best for families or groups. Note, they come with their own staff quarters and kitchen.

Al-Diwaan Restaurant

Al Diwaan-The resort’s only restaurant operates on an all-inclusive basis. It features a buffet and à la carte breakfast (eggs with hummus and ful medames/brioche French toast). Three-course lunch and a five-course dinner highlighting a variety of dishes including:

  • the Bedouin platter
  • Omani prawn salad
  • Arabic coffee panna cotta

Feel free to order from the room service menu to your villa. Even better, help yourself at the Hajar Terrace Bar from 3 pm to 5 pm to the coffee and afternoon tea treats including scones, pastries, and macarons.

Free-Wifi

Enjoy free Wi-Fi on the premises. Al Maha resort is among the pricier Dubai resorts, however, the rate includes all meals and at least two desert activities per night and of course the unique suites.
